The application
Sound Editor Pro edits local files on your computer. Your audio is not uploaded to us. Registration is checked locally; no online activation server is used.
The program connects to the internet only when you use YouTube import, when helper components (FFmpeg, yt-dlp, Deno) are missing or updated, and for the optional startup update check, which you can turn off in the Help menu.
Purchases
Orders are processed by Avangate (2Checkout), which acts as reseller and handles payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details to deliver and support your license. We never sell or give your personal information to anyone.
This website
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page, browser) for security and operations. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. The site does not use advertising cookies.
